HDTV to soar by 2011, says
The US will continue to lead the global market for high-definition television (HDTV), with an estimated 62.9m HD-ready households in 2011, up from 27.7m in 2006. Japan, China and the UK will be the next largest markets, with a forecast 28.9m HD households in 2011 (up from 9.6m in 2006) in Japan; 10.3m in China (2.5m); and 8.8m in the UK (2m), according to latest analysis by Informa Telecoms & ... ...
